Step 1: Turn on the
device and you will see the welcome start and an arrow button which means next,
press on it.
Step 2: You will need
to be connected to the internet or a wireless network which is preferable WIFI.
Step 3: Now after
connecting to a wireless network, you will need to press the next button and
wait for it to start loading and after loading you will be taken to the Google
verify your account screen.
Step 4: Now press the
back button and go back to the wireless connection screen, and now press the
own the wireless network you are connected to and release it and you will see “Forget”
press forget to disconnect from the network.
Step 5: Now you will
see “Add another Network” click on it and now you will see an icon with a red
dot on it or the last icon by the left side of the keyboard.
Step 6: Press it and
you will see “settings” press it and you will see “Help & About” and now
scroll down you will see “Privacy policy” click on it and you will see a pop-up
message saying “Network is not available”.
Step 7: Now you will
see “Network settings” click on it and you will be taken to the phone settings.
Step 8: Now scroll down
and click on “About” and in about you will see “Build number” click on it 7
times and you will see a pop-up message saying “you are now a developer”.
Step 9: Now press back
and you will see “Developer option” click on it and you will need to turn it
on.
Step 10: After turning
it on you will see “OEM unlocking” click on it and you will see a pop-up
message asking you if you want to allow OEM unlocking.
Step 11: Now choose
enable and after that press the back button and you will see “Backup &
reset” click on it and you will see “Factory data reset” click on it and you
will see a button below click on it and you will see another button saying “Erase
everything” click on it.
Step 12: Now the phone
will show you a message saying “resetting” and
another message saying “shutting down” wait for it.
Step 13: Now the phone
will reboot and you will see the Infinix logo and after that, you will see the
android logo and something spinning round in it and a message below saying “erasing”,
wait for it to finish up.
Step 14: After that
process is done the phone will reboot by itself and it may take some much long
time to boot up, but you will need to wait.
Step 15: After booting
up, you can now setup your phone as a new one without been asked to verify any
Google account.
