How to Flash iTel P12

Earlier on when iTel P12 was released we published a post to show our readers the features, specifications and price of this most adorable iTel device called P12. As well as how you can perform a hard or soft reset when your P12 becomes unresponsive or should you choose to give to someone else with no data in it.

Usually, a hard or soft reset with the guide provided for iTel P12 is supposed to fix any possible software issue you might be experiencing with your iTel P12 or other similar android devices that the quick fixing guide for issues like camera, Bluetooth, SIM, Wi-Fi, YouTube or other malfunction could solve. But if you have tried that already and it failed then, you should probably opt-in for formatting in this case I will show you how to use SP Flash Tool to format your P12.

Steps on how to flash iTel P12 with SP Flash Tool:

Step 1: Please make
sure that you phone battery level is 30%, but 50% preferable.

 

Step 2: Now you need to
download the Spreadtrum USB drivers here.

 

Step 3: Now you need to
download the phone stock Rom the file is a .pac file, you will see it after you
have extracted the Rom.

 

Step 4: Now download
and extract the spreadtrum upgrade download tool here.

 

Step 5: After
downloading and extracting the spreadtrum upgrade download tool you need to
launch it.

 

Step 6: No click on the
load button and now navigate and select the .pac of the device you want to
flash.

 

Step 7: You have to
wait for it to load and remove your battery and insert it again.

 

Step 8: Hold volume
down and now connect the device to your computer via the USB cable.

 

Step 9: The device will
be detected and the flashing process will begin. The process might take up to
10 minutes depending on the files or you computer.

 

Step 10: Now when you
see a green PASS bar, that means the flashing process is done.

 

Step 11: Now you need
to wait for some seconds and then disconnect your phone from the computer.

 

Step 12: Now reboot
your device and the booting process may take long, but if it still stock at the
booting screen, power of the phone and turn it on again.

Stock Firmware

·         Stock Firmware flashing can be applied to Unbrick your iTel P12

·         Stock ROM flashing can be applied to fix Bootloop issues.

·         Stock Firmware flashing can be applied to either upgrade or downgrade your iTel P12

·         It can be applied to unroot or fix bugs on your iTel P12.

·         To fix stutter or lag on your iTel P12

·         Stock firmware flashing is effective in solving software issues of iTel P12.

·         Stock firmware flashing can be applied to revert back to the stock of your iTel P12 to gain your warranty.

Tips to Remember:

i.                     This update is meant for iTel P12 users only.

ii.                   Be sure to try the other method of installing stock firmware if yours have unlocked Bootloader issue.

v.                   The usual upgrade steps require the use of PC or Laptop to carry out the firmware flashing.

vi.                 Ensure that you have an updated and working USB drivers installed.

vii.                Finally, just before your go on with the upgrade or downgrade, do a backup of your iTel P12 if possible.
