New MTN Data Plan 1.5GB for N1000, 750MB for N500

Having an expensive Smartphone isn’t the issue to some people, the problem is the data. Recent survey has shown that large numbers of people spend three times the amount they bought their iPhone or such expensive smartphones for data subscription within a year or two for active users.

In Nigeria people hardly use the web or mobile application called YouTube because of data. Even facebook that now has a feature that enable videos to  play automatically don’t to know how users feel over here when they find it difficult to turn off ‘video auto play’ option on their mobile devices.

The good things gradually data subscription rate is declining. Not surprised though cause that was how the price of SIM card reduce to what everyone can now afford. Hopefully someday our network service providers will start begging people on street to buy data like they do now for SIM cards.
